Welcome to the APiS undergraduate student center. This student center is a research specific student center section of Akadhmia University. However, it's also usefull to any student taking Astonomy & Physics, Astrophysics, or any derivative thereof. For students of Akadhmia University, this is the starting point for all science students. It's also were students can get guidence on the science requirement. As well, science and engineering students from other universities can use this site to improve their options. If students are not doing as well as expected, or need more options, they can add the studies here to their studies. We provide a complete path to research and employment. This is yet another developing option to make our top level education programs available to anyone with the interest.
No matter the science - physics and astronomy are at the base. As such, it's our starting point. All science has been influenced by, and is connected to, physics and astronomy. Further, there is an intimate connection between physics and astronomy. (For example, both Galileo and Newton we both physicists and astronomers.) As well, the connection between physics (and astronomy) and other sciences can easily be demonstrated. From Galileo, we get the telescope and the development of optics (optics produces the microscope and leads us into mircrobiology). From Newton, we get the laws of motion and calculus (which produces any science that uses calculus and the physiology of any body that moves). Further, with the laws of motion (physics), the properties of molecules can be explored (producing chemistry). Electronics is a product solid state physics. Finally, the application of any science is engineering.
